How To Win Email Marketing In 2025

The Juice

Hey, it’s Dylan from The Juice.
Email Marketing has shifted a TON this year.
Here’s what’s driving results in 2025 and what you’ll want to pivot toward now if you want to stay relevant.
📩 1. Get personal
People are over buying from big corporations.
Don’t be afraid to show your customers who you really are.
That means:
Emails that feel personal, coming from the founder or other members of the team.
Share behind the scene moments.
Speak to your audience like real humans, not just with marketing buzzwords that sound smart.
Leverage UGC and real life testimonials.
🧠 2. Value Value Value
The modern customer hates being constantly sold.
If you want to earn attention, you’ve got to deliver value first.
That could be:
Actionable tips on xyz
Quick how-to’s
How to get the most out of xyz
Free resources, tools, or exclusive content
🧠 3. Beating the Tik Tok attention span
The modern customers attention span is FRIED (9 seconds to be exact)
The fix:
Use images and infographics to do the heavy lifting
Break up text with bolded headers and bullet points
Create emails under 100 words
🎯 4. Dialed in Pop-Ups
The old “10% off your first order” isn’t cutting it anymore. People want to interact.
What’s working now:
Fun quiz-style pop-ups
Spin-to-win, scratch cards, or mystery discounts
A single engaging question before asking for an email (micro-commit)
🔁 5. Send more emails!
If you’re only sending 1-2 emails per week, or worse 1-2 a month you’re falling behind. Seriously.
Inbox volume is higher than ever, and attention spans are shorter.
The sweet spot? 3-4x/week.
If you’re not showing up consistently with valuable content, your audience will forget you ever existed.
Here’s how to keep it fresh without burning people out:
Rotate between value, story, community, and sales
Reuse your best-performing content in new formats
Don’t be afraid to go short—some of the best emails are just 2-3 lines
Remember: If you send bomb emails people will actually be excited to open them!
